Pastor David Greiser

Dave Greiser, originally from Hatfield, PA, loves life in a congregation and the life of the academy. Prior to coming to Baltimore, Dave served pastorates in Grand Rapids, MI, Philadelphia, PA, Lebanon, KY and Souderton, Pennsylvania. He has served a small church, an urban church plant, a very large church and a country church.
As a professor, Dave has taught at both college and seminary levels. For three and a half years he directed the Pastoral Ministry program at Hesston College in Kansas, and for seven years prior to that he taught preaching at Palmer Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He is a graduate of Eastern Mennonite University and Fuller Theological Seminary, and completed graduate degrees at Westminster and Southern seminaries.

In addition to preaching and reading, Dave has diverse interests-watching and talking about movies, following politics, observing popular culture, sampling cuisines from around the world, traveling, playing golf (badly), the occasional skydive, and following pro baseball (Phillies), football (Eagles) and the Indy Racing League (Andretti Green).

Dave has been married to Anita Nussbaum Greiser for 31 years. Originally from Kidron, Ohio, Anita teaches elementary level ESL and devours mystery novels. Dave and Anita have two grown children. Their daughter Hope, married to Monty Graber (a teacher) works part time at a church, part time at a retirement community, and is a part time seminary student in North Newton, KS. Their son Aaron is a recent college grad serving a year of voluntary service in Baltimore.
