Featuring Cheick Hamala Diabate, a West African performer and storyteller in the Griot tradition, and a world-recognized master of the ngoni, a Malian traditional instrument. Cheick Hamala has performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and many other festivals across the United States, as well as throughout Africa, Europe, Asia and Canada.
