Children's Service in the Park
NBMC holds a Children's Worship Service in the Park at Luckman Park in Baltimore, MD every June. During this Service, children participate in music and stories. Then we conclude with a fellowship meal in the park's gazebo. This event will next be held on June 12, 2011 at 11:00am.
Christmas Eve Service
NBMC holds a Christmas Eve Service every year at 7:00pm. The service includes carol singing, a brief message, and a candlelight vigil followed by light refreshments. Please join us in the celebration of Jesus' birth!
Church Retreat
Every fall, our church community gathers at Camp Hebron, PA for a weekend of fellowship and spiritual nourishment. Each retreat includes a guest speaker, activities for children and youth, and child care. The dates for the 2010 Retreat are September 24-26, 2010.
Easter Breakfast & Children's Easter Egg Hunt
Every Easter Sunday, our church community meets together and celebrates Jesus' resurrection with a meal of eggs, breakfast casserole, and sweet breads. The meal is followed by an Easter Egg Hunt for the children and our Worship Service at 10:30am. The next Easter Breakfast will take place on April 24, 2011 at 9:00am at NBMC.
Maundy Thursday Meal & Service
Our Maundy Thursday event includes a fellowship meal followed by footwashing and communion. After this, we proceed to a Service of Shadows where we contemplate the death of Jesus Christ. Our next service will be held on April 21, 2011 at 6:30pm at NBMC.
Vacation Bible School
Children ages 3-11 are invited to participate in a weekend of Bible stories, songs, and activities. The dates for upcoming 2011 NBMC Vacation Bible School have yet to be determined.
Women's Retreat
All women are welcome for this weekend of fellowship, worship, and much needed relaxation at Charter Hall, PA. The dates for our 2011 Women's Retreat will be determined shortly.
Winter Bible School
Winter Bible School is an opportunity for our community to gather for a weekend, and discuss the Bible and various topics of spirituality. The 2011 Winter Bible School will feature Michael Gorman, dean of the Ecumenical Institute at St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore, MD. The dates are March 4-6, 2011.
